Individual Therapy
People come to therapy for many reasons. Perhaps you are not even sure what the trouble is, but you just need a space to feel heard and not judged. I help folks unravel their thoughts and feelings, supporting you to have a more coherent experience of yourself.
Relationship Counseling
Having a relationship where you feel heard and understood, where you can express need, longing and desire, while simultaneously maintaining your individual identity can be challenging. Perhaps you seek deeper intimacy in the multiple realms that this can take place, emotionally and physically. Perhaps conflicts have weathered or even eroded your bond. People often come to relationship counseling at the point where they feel like things are unresolvable and yet there is hope and a willingness to try. I work with people in diverse relationship configurations, facilitating detangling of conflicts and renewed inspiration toward connection. I work with people in intimate relationships as well as other relationship configurations, including adult parent/child relationships as well as parents and teens.
My areas of focus include (but are not limted to:
Anxiety
Depression
Early Childhood Relational Rupture and Trauma
Employment Stress for People in the Helping Fields (including mental health professionals, social workers, teachers, medical providers and first responders among others)
Familial Trauma (including adoptees and adoptive parents, foster care history, death or loss of a parent, familial substance abuse)
